Tired of social media? Well, you might be able to deactivate some of your accounts for $$$. Facebook/Instagram are seeking people to sign up for a study looking at social media and its impact on voting according to the New York Post.

They are looking to have between 200,000 and 400,000 subjects in the study, which they are sending invites out for. Selected members will get up to $120 to deactivate their accounts starting at the end of this month.

Additionally, some members will take part in surveys over that length of time.

Facebook said the data will be looked at by independent data scientists. Let’s just hope we don’t have another Cambridge Analytica situation on our hands.
