Scientists Release The First Photos Ever Of A Black Hole

Cue the Johnny Cash because this thing is a “Ring of Fire!”

Scientists were finally able to capture a photo of a supermassive black hole (now cue some Muse). But it was no easy task.

According to The Verge, it took “supercomputers, eight telescopes stationed on five continents, hundreds of researchers, and vast amounts of data to accomplish.”
