We’ve heard that the housing market has cooled off a little bit compared to the past year or so but one listing on Zillow has been on fire…because the house was literally on fire! A 10 million dollar property in Tennessee (including a mansion and 5 acres) was listed on Zillow for an asking price of $1.5 million after a house fire. Why the fire sale? (Pun intended) Because the previous owners just wanted to move on from that traumatic part of their life. After just 4 days on the market, the house has been purchased by a man named Mike Thakur and his family who know they’ll have to strip the building down to it’s studs…and maybe even more…but are willing to take on the project so they can make it their own!
