Deb says yes.
Her kids say no.
The debate began when Deb ordered carryout this week from their favorite gourmet burger restaurant, specifying that ‘one of the sandwiches should be plain.’
Her son, Hayden, remarked that ‘a burger is not a sandwich.’ Huh? Her oldest son agreed.
Her boys shared that a ham and cheese is a sandwich. A PB & J is a sandwich. A grilled cheese is a sandwich. A tuna melt and chicken salad on rye is a sandwich. A club? Yep, all sandwiches.
Just not a burger.
In their opinion, a burger is, well, a BURGER. Nothing else. Seriously? <insert eye roll here>
Who makes these rules?
