We know it’s been a while since most of us have been on a plane, but something tells us extra legroom shouldn’t cost you almost $770 million to upgrade!
A few days ago a passenger took to social media to share the fact that Qantas Airlines tried to charge him almost $770 million USD just to get a couple of extra inches to stretch his legs, according to Travel + Leisure.
Luckily he didn’t get charged to upgrade, because why would you pay that much to upgrade, but he did reach out to Qantas and they have said it was a system error and that a seat upgrade should have normally cost $70, which also seems too much.
You can see the passenger’s interaction with Qantas below and you might want to double-check how much you’re being charged!
Hey @Qantas all I wanted was extra leg room on my flight to Perth, very happy to pay for it but this seems a bit expensive…. pic.twitter.com/rB1GyXACUe
