Imagine being a server and turning away a celebrity like Adam Sandler…without realizing it!

According to Entertainment Weekly, that’s exactly what happened as he unwittingly stars in a viral TikTok video.  An IHOP waitress released a surveillance camera video of her turning away the actor.

Because Adam and his daughter wore masks, the server didn’t immediately recognize Sandler. She told him the wait for a table would be at least 30 minutes, so he left.

People complimented Sandler for not using the “do you know who I am?” line to get a table sooner. Another TikTok user claimed, “I used to serve him regularly. Never served a nicer person.”
