While a permanent host for Jeopardy hasn’t been selected just yet, it sounds like we may have a contender.

According to USA Today, FOX Sports broadcaster Joe Buck is set to guest host the game show this summer, which will be considered as an audition to be permanent host in the future as well.

Fans of the show are sharing their disinterest of the possibility on Twitter. While Buck is the lead play-by-play announcer for FOX Sports, he has been known to face plenty of criticism from sports fans.

Personally, I find the disliking of Buck to be a little unfair and rather “trendy.” I’ll certainly give him a shot on the show this summer.
