Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation is at it again—giving more grants to animal rescues and shelters across the country. This time, they donated $5,000 to 50 different places for a total of $250,000 in grants according to the Tennessean.
One of the recipients was a rescue in Indianapolis by the name of Heaven After Hell. According to their website, they take in unwanted or abused dogs and cats from high kill shelters and match them with adoptive families.
“While the pandemic really opened people’s hearts and homes to adopting and fostering in record numbers, shelters were unable to hold their regular fundraising events, which left a big gap,” Lambert told The Tennessean. “We know that these funds will help shelters continue to provide a great environment for their pets, employees, volunteers and the communities at-large that they serve.”
We teamed up with @TractorSupply to award 50 shelters across 50 states a surprise $5,000 grant! These shelters are heroes and they work so hard every day to give shelter pets a better life. We’re so proud to recognize their incredible work!https://t.co/mWFpg0YWnu pic.twitter.com/SvglTTg3Gs
