During a pandemic, the streaming platform has decided to raise their subscription prices. Now, I know they lost a substantial number of subscribers because of the movie Cuties, so I guess maybe this is their way of making up for that loss? Or maybe the increase was already scheduled—either way, me no likey.
According to CNBC, the standard plan and premium plan will increase by $1 and $2 a month respectively. That puts the standard price at $13.99 and the premium at $17.99 per month.
You’ll see those changes on your bill within the next two months. You know, if you actually check your bill each month. I don’t even know what plan I have.
