This morning, Sunday 8/9, the United State surpassed 5 million COVID-19 cases. According to CNN, 40% of all those cases come from just 5 states:
California leads with over 540,000 positive cases. New York, Texas, Florida, and Georgia are leading the country in most positive cases as well.
While New York started as the epicenter, they are reporting lower numbers as citizens change their behaviors.
