Now I know there is a dog park at Metazoa Brewery, but it’s pretty darn small. Other than that one, there’s not really a big space for people to bring their pups to play and explore.

But there will be soon! An 8,000 square foot dog park is in the works at Immanuel United Church of Christ according to Indy Star.

They are hoping to break ground on the project in mid-October. It will be partially turfed with canine grass and feature separate areas for big dogs and small dogs.

Because the park will be run by volunteers, there will be a small fee. $20 gets you a year membership for up to three dogs. You can donate to the fundraiser (which is about halfway to its goal) HERE.
