Some People In Australia Are Angry With Nicole Kidman And Keith Urban

(Photo by Michael Buckner/Getty Images for Women in Film)

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, along with their two daughters, recently made the trek back to Australia from the US. Normally that trip requires a two-week stay in a hotel to quarantine.

But according to MSN, the family was granted an exemption by the New South Wales Government to self-isolate at home.

And this special treatment is irking some people, saying that if you’re famous you get to do whatever you want. Apparently Dannii Minogue was allowed to do something similar.

One fan asked why the couple got special treatment when “ordinary people” had to isolate in a hotel. Another said “If we all have to do it and no one is getting exemptions then EVERYONE should have to do it! And they wonder why people start breaking the rules.”

Other fans backed the country singer and actress saying they have their own property, why not be allowed to stay there?

I kind of see both sides of the argument. What do you think?
