As the coronavirus continues to spread throughout the United States, it’s becoming evident that we should all be staying home as much as possible. As a sports fan, the pickings are pretty slim right about now. That said, I do have a solution: sports movies! Here are some of my go to’s while we’re stuck indoors.

#5: The Wrestler

Kind of a dark horse on the list from 2008 starring Mickey Rourke. The WWE fan in me is a sucker for this one.

#4: Hoosiers

For the record, I’ve loved this film LONG before moving to Indy!

#3: Happy Gilmore

An Adam Sandler classic that made up my childhood.

#2: The Blindside

Once the spring rolls around and I’m having my football withdrawals, this one always does the trick on a Lazy Sunday.

#1: Major League

Honestly an all-time favorite movie altogether. I even own a “Wild Thing” Ricky Vaughn jersey!
