It’s a little early for a TBT, but this one is worth it. Turns out before Keith Urban was a judge on American Idol, he was a contestant on another talent show.

New Faces was a TV show in Australia and a 16-year-old Keith made an appearance on it back in 1983. You don’t see it in the clip below, but according to the Daily Mail, the judges were pretty harsh. In fact, one suggested that he take some singing lessons.
