Yesterday, KFC announced they would roll out meatless “chicken” in Atlanta, Georgia stores today. They’re calling them Kentucky Fried Miracles. LOL.
It’s Kentucky Fried Chicken but it’s made with @BeyondMeat. It’s confusing, but it’s also delicious. Feast on these Kentucky Fried miracles tomorrow while they last at KFC in Atlanta, Georgia. pic.twitter.com/lC5oYM1cmk

The chain will feature BeyondMeat in two new menu items: nuggets with dipping sauce and a “boneless wing” tossed in various sauces. According to Buzzfeed, vegans and vegetarians should still know that these items will be fried in the same fryer used to cook chicken.
There is no indication that the store will continue this promotion past today or that it will become available outside the city of Atlanta. But if you’re dying to try plant-based fast food right now… Burger King’s Impossible Whopper is available here in Indy — but it is also cooked on the same grill as actual beef burgers.
the Impossible™ Whopper ®:
1. has a patty made from plants.
2. is flame-grilled.
3. is now available nationwide. pic.twitter.com/fLGECb8aor— Burger King (@BurgerKing) August 8, 2019
I’m not a vegan or a vegetarian, but I AM intrigued and I’ll probably give these a go. Here’s to hoping the BeyondMeat KFC items make their way to our Circle City.
