Jay DeMarcus’s memoir, “Shotgun Angles: My Story of Broken Roads and Unshakeable Hope,” came out yesterday . . . and one of the big revelations is that he and a former girlfriend had a baby that they gave up for adoption.

They didn’t plan to get pregnant.  In fact, it was the first and ONLY time they had sex, and the condom broke.  Quote, “[We] discussed options, like getting married and raising the child, but determined we’d be making that decision for the wrong reason.

“Abortion was never an option, so we began to discuss adoption.  It became evident that Maggie wanted nothing to do with me.  There was no interest in the two of us somehow working things out so we might raise our child together.”
