If you hate snakes, this is the stuff of nightmares. A 17-foot, 140 pound python was removed from Big Cypress National Reserves in the Florida Everglades. It is the largest snake to ever be removed from the area.
According to CNN, there are over 100,000 pythons living in the swamps outside Miami. The snakes pose significant threats to native wildlife and Florida encourages hunters to remove/euthanize them.
