Maren Morris recently appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen. During the show, she revealed that she was turned away from “American Idol”, “The Voice” and “America’s Got Talent.” She got the last laugh though since she’s a Grammy winner AND gets a check when they show someone auditioning or performing one of her songs.

Turns out Maren wasn’t the only one to get turned away from the shows.

Kane Brown was turned down by “American Idol.” He did make “X Factor” but quit when they put him in a boy band.

Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott tried out for “American Idol” twice but never made it past the first round.

Chris Lane made it onto “American Idol” with his twin brother…but as one of the worst auditions of the day. Whomp whomp.
