The Lions and Packers will go at it this Sunday in Green Bay. And while the game might be a good one, Detroit has no shot at the playoffs. That might deter some people from watching the game. But there’s another reason to tune in—to hear/see Pat McAfee make his NFL analyst debut.
McAfee, the former punter for the Colts, will be in the broadcast booth for Fox. He will be joined by play-by-play announcer Justin Kutcher, color commentator Robert Smith and sideline reporter Sarah Kustok according to SB Nation.
His goal is to bring some entertainment to the broadcast. “I have a different attitude towards it. I think it should be a show—I think they’ve started to make it too serious,” he said.
Pat McAfee has gained a pretty good following on Twitter and he has his own podcast. He previously had a show with Barstool Sports on SiriusXM.
