Coming off of last weekâs perfect score, Jana Kramer was geared up for Eras night on Dancing With the Stars, where the eight remaining contestants danced to some of the most popular songs throughout the decades.
âLast week was amazing,â Jana said before her dance. âThat was my goal going into the competition. I was like âI would love a perfect score.â And now Iâm going to accomplish the next thing: the mirror ball.â
Jana and her partner, Gleb Savchenko, were given the 1970sâthe era of funk. The couple danced the samba to KC and The Sunshine Bandâs âGet Down Tonight.â
âI just feel like there is so much pressure this week,â said Jana during a rehearsal. âComing off of a perfect score, Iâm back to zero, literally. We have to work our way up. I just feel super overwhelmed and then I feel like I just suck.â
Jana didnât receive her best scores of the season, but was happy with the scoresâ8 from Carrie Ann Inaba, 9 from Julianne Hough, 8 from Len Goodman and 9 from Bruno Tonioli, giving her Jana a total of 34 out of 40 points.
âThat girl can funk,â Bruno shouted. âShe can get down, she can get up, she can get into anything in betweenâincluding wonderful shadow rolls. She can do a mean washâjust in case you get too dirty, sheâll take care of you. But never too dirty for me.â
âYouâre a great dancer,â Carrie Ann added. âYou had a few problems with musicality tonight, but I donât want that to discourage you because I see your star growing brighter and brighter.â
At the end of the show, Jana found herself in jeopardy again, landing in the bottom two with Maureen McCormack. However, Maureen was sent home, and Jana is safe for another week.
You can see Jana and Gleb do their thing next week when Dancing With the Stars airs Monday nights at 7 p.m. CT on ABC.
